Sipizi

is an Australian brand built around the principles of sustainability, eco-conscious design, and modern lifestyle values. This was one of my most sustainable projects, where every design decision — from materials to visual language — was guided by environmental responsibility.

Product Overview

Sipizi’s first product is a straw made from rice flour — a sustainable alternative to plastic straws, designed for eco-conscious consumers in both the US and Australia. The goal was to create packaging and identity that are distinctive, memorable, and trademarkable.

A key part of the brief was the brand name itself: Sipizi should visually guide customers to pronounce it clearly in three syllables — SI • PI • ZY — ensuring recognition and avoiding confusion in the marketplace. The logo therefore needed to be bold, simple, and phonetically intuitive, making the name unforgettable at first glance.

Brief

The client’s vision was clear: create a logo  and brand identity system that would reflect Sipizi’s values of:

  • Zero-waste mindset

  • Natural, recyclable materials

  • Modern minimalism with a human touch

The challenge was to translate these values into a premium, eco-conscious look that resonates with environmentally aware consumers in the Australian market.

Final Outcome

The final branding and packaging system for Sipizi communicates:

Eco-luxury — premium design that remains rooted in sustainability.

Authenticity — inspired by the natural environment of Australia.

Clarity — clean layouts and bold hierarchy ensure trust and transparency.

Sipizi now stands as a sustainable Australian brand with packaging that is not only visually appealing but also aligned with the highest eco-standards — a design made to look good and do good.
